Peter Opsvik and his colleagues have collaborated with HÅG since 1974 and have made a major contribution to the philosophy on which HÅG builds its business.
Peter Opsvik's Norwegian design studio has a strong focus on product design as a means for solving real-life problems. His contribution has been to create products that inspire variation between many different postures while using the same chair.

Vivid is a soft and durable 100% polyester that exceeds ACT Performance standards for upholstery. Sustainability standard Greengard Gold and BIFMA compliant. It is an excellent choice of fabric for a long-lasting chair.
Green Hides offers industry finest and durable leathers that fit perfectly the Capisco and elevates your chair to the next level. Sierra is a top grain semi-aniline leather with consistent grain structure and coloration throughout the entire hide. Hand selected superior Australian cattle hides. The plain black is from the Lena collection which offers the same premium quality and to ensure a deep darck dye. Vulcano Vintage combines distressed leather aesthetics with the durability of modern tanning. Hand selected European and New Zealand hides are aniline dyed with a classic marbled crackle effect. A protective non-scratch finish makes Vulcano resistent for public and private environments.
The 9to5 Nautilus Pauly collection is a medical grade vinyl which has been designed for high traffic and intense antimicrobial cleaning. The vinyl features a natural leather grain which give is a warm texture for better aesthetic and comfort.

Since it is not possible to guarantee our online colors will look the same on all computers, we do not guarantee that what you see accurately portrays the color of the actual product. However, we give you as many high-quality pictures as possible to give you the closest rendering.
Production of the chairs takes about 5 to 15 business days, 15-20 business days for leather and lead times are updated weekly at the top of our product pages to ensure full transparency for your satisfaction. Shipping is managed with Fedex and takes about 2 to 5 days. Once the chair is shipped we will share the tracking information with you.
HAG accepts NO RETURNS as chairs are made to order following your design requirements. Order cannot be amended or changed 24 hours after the order has been placed. Once production has started, orders cannot be changed or cancelled.
General warranty terms and conditions
HAG offers a limited lifetime warranty on its chairs mechanism, 5 years on upholstery, and gas lift for regular usage. The warranty covers any necessary spare parts. Labor and transport costs are not covered. Wear and tear must be expected from normal use and are not covered by the warranty. Unless otherwise specified, the maximum weight for users is 300 lb.
The warranty is offered on the condition that the chair is used in normal conditions and for the purpose intended, and fabrics/leather undergoing normal cleaning and according to the specification of the fabric supplier. The guarantee does not cover the consequence of wear and stains when choosing a light (white) color for plastic or metal components.
