KNIT is an excellent furniture fabric with durable and natural resilient properties. The woolen upholstery textile is custom made specifically for Ekstrem by the Norwegian Devold. Knitted from one continuous thread, it provides an essential elasticity when fitted to the chair’s organic shape. The knitted fabric provides a soft and breathable surface and features a classic quadratic pattern.
GENTLE is the newest addition to the Varier collection. A lush knitted velvet upholstery fabric, available in four desaturated colors - Orange, Rose, Blue, and Green - as well as two monochromatic colorways represented by a classic Black and a striking White. Made of 28 separate pieces of fabric which are sewn together into two main covers, one for the left side of the chair and one for the right. The two pieces are then manually fitted to the chair. Ensuring a snug and correct fit is a strenuous task that requires considerable effort by skilled hands. The process takes close to five hours to complete.

We are updating stock and lead times at least twice a week from the official North American Varier warehouse to make sure you get the most accurate information. We accept no returns for all Varier chairs.

Chairs in stock ship within 2 to 3 business days from our warehouse in Colorado per UPS or FEDEX ground transport, for which you will receive detailed tracking information. Ground transport takes about 3 to 5 business days.
