Unlike other molded shell chairs, which usually come on a wood or metal base, the base of Social is fully molded. Each molded part contains 55-75% post-consumer polypropylene (PP). The recycled PP comes mainly from European household waste, discarded film and other plastic-based materials. The molding process works by mixing recycled PP and glass fiber into a large injection molding machine that creates mold under high pressure. Special gas-blowing technology makes a hollow core in the mold, significantly reducing material use while upholding strength and durability.

Upon arrival in the US, your chair ships per UPS or FEDEX ground transport for which you will receive detailed tracking information.
